This workflow module is used to leverage use of a central document pool of reusable pages or spreads. Typically these documents (InDesign or QuarkXPress layout documents) are created by a central creative team. The catalogues are then assembled from a selection of existing pool documents and catalogue specific documents.
The document pool pagination module copies documents from the pool and creates publication instances of them with correct file names as per the naming convention. The instantiation process also includes linking the copied publication instance documents to their associated spread or page document in the target Agility publication. The document section and start page information is also edited to match the target page numbers in the catalogue.
