The publication planning module gives planners a friendly web interface to work in. It allows the users to easily create a publication with the desired amount of pages. They can browse the Agility product classification tree and drag and drop individual products or entire section into the publication. Once in the publication the elements can be reorder an target space can be assigned to each element. Product metadata relevant to the planning process, e.g. past and projected performance figures, can be displayed to assist the process.

Using this tool the planners can model the publication gradually perfecting the pace and flow. They can also assign images to products and add filler elements where needed.

The finished page plan is exported to Agility as a publication structure that can be accessed by the layout artists from within InDesign.
