There are of number of Traxtion modules for generating PDFs for different purposes.
Colour Proofing
The colour proofing module adds functionality to create high resolution PDFs of catalogue pages or spreads for colour proofing. It includes options to create the proof PDFs containing images only, with master text, or with market specific translated text.
The module also includes the ability to print the PDFs to a colour proofing system with custom page slugs and page pairing, if applicable.
Content Proofing
The content proofing module generates low resolution PDF suitable for content proofing of selected catalogue pages or spreads in selected market versions. These PDFs are typically generated as catalogue spreads without bleed and can be optimized for screen viewing and office printing with regards to compression and colourspace.
The module also includes the ability to output low resolution content proof PDFs to a selected office printer. Includes custom page slugs on printouts.
Print delivery PDF generation
The module generates high resolution PDFs suitable for print delivery of selected catalogue pages or spreads in selected market versions. These PDFs are typically configured as PDF/X-1a:2003 compliant single page or spread files including bleeds.
